Default More noob questions

Sorry for not answering on a previous post back in the day(2 weeks ago) I had more then 30 seconds of free time at work to do important stuff like talk about S2000's. Alright so here is deal, when I power the top down the passenger window goes down but not the drivers side? Is it supposed to work that way?

Next one is there supposed to be an warning tone if I leave my light on, because ummmmmm mine did not and I had a dead battery and now now radio because the code did not come with the car.......

I love the car but it has a few gremlins that and I need to work out, that and I think I have a rear wheel bearing going out. I get a squeal every time I give her some gas.

Your window regulator is bad. Needs replaced. I got mine replaced before I ran out of warranty. It's a common problem.

I'm pretty sure there's a buzzer when you pull the key and you leave your lights on.

my window regulator is bad as well, a common S2K problem pre 2004. the dealer quoted me a price of 500 to replace it..but with this in mind, it's not really worth the money to reaplce it seeing that it doesn't harm anything. someone told me some advice on how to re-set the window regulator function, but i haven't tried it yet.

The reset worked once for me but that was it. So my regulator was replaced last fall. If you get the regulator I can install it for food while the rest of the Columbus crew get entertained

I did the reset once and it never happened again. I forget how to do it. Do you put the window down, put it up and continue to hold the button up and it clicks? These guys might want to try it. Correct me if I am wrong.

Its a TSB.... One of the many listed from the thread above. Try printing out the TSB and taking it to the manager. Since your out of warranty maybe with the TSB in hand they might do it for you out of good will.

Reset, I believe is with the key turn so that the power windows work, put window down and hold the button down for 10 seconds after the window is all the way down. I think that is it, but i might be forgetting something.

If you wait till next spring, the period of time that goodwill can be considered will have past.
