I have another location tentatively in mind as well so I will get some more information hopefully this week.
Ideally, I'd like to do something similar to what we did at Marysville and Ganley.... the larger/more complicated things, have a tech do (and would be paid for his time, of course), and then for the minor things, have everyone help out...
Having said that, I don't think it makes sense to have this at a dealership this year because the volume of work is low....so, if anything, this is more like a garage gtg... hang out, order some food, pull up a chair, bs, etc... and catch up...
The other thought..... bag the "tech" stuff and keep it simple... intake and headrest speakers, fluids, etc.. can be done pretty much at anyones house (heated garage. *cough cough*..Rick)..and then we can grill, pick up some food, etc and just hang out...There really isn't any incentive for "professional" shops to host this given the lack of things that need to be done... (valve adjustments, clutch delay valve removal, gears, etc...)
Let me know what everyones thoughts are...
Thanks

Is there anyhting else anyone would want done?
We want to try and get a finalized list just so we know what needs done.
It doesnt need to be 100%, but close enough would be good.

Update...
Been thinking this over and I think Mod Day is going to be more like a bbq and hang out.. minor mod day... so little things like fluid changes, headrest mods can be done.. I don't think we have the volume or the need to do it at a shop (wouldn't be worth it for them)..
So, having said that, does anyone have a place/suggestion to host this?
