There is a company (Automotive Legends) that does their own purpose-built reproductions of the 550 spyders to the specifications and quality that match or surpass the original. I like the fact they try to use parts that carry the same theme and genetics of the original Porsche spyder.

If I get to that point where having such a toy is possible, this is one company and car I would strongly consider.
