There is a brand new Hilton on Polaris right as you get off the exit from 71, you can't miss it. I haven't stayed there, but I know people that have & were very satisfied. I'd be in for the GTG on Saturday night, as long as I'm not too tired from the ALMS race.
Edit: Here is a link for the Hilton. Do the "take a tour", it's top notch IMHO. Definitely the nicest place on/near Polaris.

In my opinion, anything near polaris is very safe and is most likely going to be nice - I work right near there. Theres a hampton inn (which I've always had luck with), theres a brand new fairfield inn, best western, etc etc...

Awesome... thanks for the heads up!!! I'm actually going to head down to Columbus after the ALMS race, check-in, shower, relax, and then head out somewhere in the Polaris area...
If someone has a suggestion of a place and time, please let me know and I'll update the first post to reflect time and place
As far as the Hilton goes.. it looks like there is a Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn.. and both are sold out on Saturday.. DOH.. I'll check the other suggestions that have been posted..

Hampton Inn & Suites Columbus Polaris
8411 Pulsar Place

It looks like that have rooms for under $120 a night.. which isn't bad.. and looks to be pretty close to the 71 exit..
Hmm.. is there a car wash area nearby..

Like I said, I don't think you're gonna go wrong with the Polaris area.
