Well first time with a new wax. Following BlueBarchettas advice, Im going to put like 6 layers of wax on so the decals come off nicely.

^^ Be careful with that. We've had issues in the past with people having too much wax and the decals wouldn't stick.


DON'T super-wax it right before the event, give it at least a week of driving around before you put them on.

I've seen a few cases over the past few years where people have put on coats and coats of wax the day before the decal day. The most notorious one was 2 years ago with Mark (shedrivesit). Some of the decals wouldn't even stick to his car.

All I'm saying is don't do it right before, give it a few days for the wax to settle in.
