Figured I'd post up where some of us will be staying the weekend of Indy weekend... (at least that Saturday night)


A few of us stayed at the Cambria Suites last year and were impressed so we are staying there again this year. We also did some night activities around the Polaris area so location wise, this was a good spot

Not sure what's on tap for Saturday night yet... Anyone have some suggestions?

 

I have to be in FLA all week prior to that weekend so I'm guessing my hotel tolerance will be at 0. Likely just commute Sat & Sun. But always up for something on Sat night.

 

I forget where it was that we went last year but we had a lot of fun...I'd be up for something around the Polaris area on Saturday night again

 

I'm up for Cambria again.

We went to "the Pub" last year at the mall, they had Strongbow on tap, so I was a happy boy.

 

We can talk to someone in Columbus and set up another gtg at the pub again.

 

The Pub is my favorite bar. Cheesecake Factory is right next door, as is Brio, Cantina Laredo, a nice Japanese steakhouse, etc. There is a plethora of bars, restaurants and fun things to do in the Westerville/Worthington/Lewis Center/Polaris area. The mall closes at 9 PM or 10 PM on Saturdays, I think, but there's also the Easton Town Center about 15 minutes due east on I-270 for another excellent alternative. Magic Mountain and their very nice go kart course might be something to look into as well. Haha.

I'd be happy to arrange stuff for y'all, as I live and work in the area.

 

Oh yeah... I did think about what other alternatives there may be...I even thought about Dave and Busters as an alternative...

Having said that, I think last year, after the long day in the sun on Saturday, and the early Sunday morning start... I'm thinking The Pub might be a good place for us to have another gtg.... I'll see how many people we end up getting and go from there...I, for one, am voting for The Pub again (and I know Sam liked it there as well)

 

There's always Tilted Kilt, which opened a few months ago. It's kind of like the Pub but with waitresses/bartenders in schoolgirl outfits and they have like 50 flatscreens and 2 huge projection screens. Pricing is about the same as the Pub. I think that's the only major place that has opened around the area since last summer. Just throwing out another alternative since I live around the area.

You drive down Sancus Blvd. sometimes, bball? I've seen a GPW AP2 a couple times on that road when I was driving to or from my g/f's place. Might've been you? I'm in a stock GPW MY03. Say hi sometime!
