Rain stopped, roads dried outs and i finally got to take her out for a spin. And now she's back undercover.

I'm in no hurry to shovel. Now the guys at Mad River Mtn might disagree......

Hope nobody was driving S today. I saw some kid crawling on 315 N bound in his RX8 at 20mph white knuckle and all. My snow tires on my Volov finally came in handy. It was fun blowing pass everyone on the road today. Should've seen the look on this dude's face when I pass his Lexus RX330. "SNOW TIRES MOFO~!" Woot!

We took ours out early Sunday morning right in the worst snow we've seen so far, before any roads were touched in our neighborhood, just to see how it would perform since it is a daily driven car regardless of weather.

We have Dunlop WinterSport M3s on it and much to my suprise it handled the fresh snow/ice much better than my GTI with all seasons. If I'm ever in a crunch and need to head out in bad weather, I'm more than likely reaching for the keys to the S (as long as the snow is not so deep that I don't have clearance). Of course, the hardtop helps too.

What's wrong with that? Sounds like fun.

04 S2k with Blizzaks here. Did you know, you get really strange looks from snow plow drivers when your passing them on the unplowed side of the road.
