I just had mine replaced this summer and went with aftermarket PGW (PPG) glass. No noticeable waves or distortion, and it looks really good. If I remember correctly, the OEM glass was made by PPG/PGW.

And Sam, getting it covered through insurance is always nice. I had bought my car with a giant crack already down the center of the windshield, so I ended up paying for the new one out of pocket. Ended up going with an independent installer too. What did you think of the quality of the workmanship from Safelite?

They did a good job and he was very careful. They've replaced a few windshields for us over the years and have done a good job every time, this was the first for the S. No complaints with Safelite from me.

Yup. PGW does make good glass though. If I ever replace mine it will be OEM or PGW only. Too many concern with the lower cost alternatives. See Sam's story.

... not getting a Superformance Cobra anymore... Seller is crazy on price and all the nostalgia in the world cant justify our price difference. On a different note, I recently drove a Noble M12 GTO 3R and am seriously impressed, blown away in fact. Hands down the best enthusiast car I've ever driven (and I've driven A LOT). Owner is a friends grandfather, and since he's getting up in age he's looking to liquidate some cars soon so I've gotta keep it on my radar.

I saw the side-by-sides with Blake's E92. I would like to get a group down there sometime. My schedule doesn't mesh well with the proposed s2000 dragon events so I'm thinking maybe we make one of our own. That being said, I'm also thinking about going to Montreal in the summer so not sure how that will work either.
