i would recomend drapping the wheel for driving purpose's once you unscrew the bolts the whole column lowers bu its not stable, the 4 bolts are there to hold the whole thing together
why would you drive with it dropped? i was wondering for dash swapping, do you drive with yours dropped or am i missing what you were saying?

its easy to do , i ddi mine when swapping black to blue, i think it was like 4 or 6 bolts that held it in and 4 to drop the sterring wheel down
