I was unclear in my reference. I was speaking about my experiece calling the 800 number, and the first people I talked to there.

In general the dealer service managers have been helpful to me. I am surprised that they would not initaiate the call/case file for Dave.
I am surprised as well. Most dealer service managers would have no issue escalating such a problem to Customer Relations / Zone manager for mitigation. They would have a vested interest in getting this paid for as they do make good money on warranty claims.

The Service Manager told me that they had the ability to do a "goodwill" up to a certain amount but this would exceed that amount. He did not want to refer it to the district/zone level. I started at the 800 number.

I have a few on the passenger side of my ap1 but they much longer than the ones in your picture. They were there when I bought it and just thought a shopping cart must have caused them.

Hmm, if its cracking from the inside, that's really odd. You would think that (1) there would be random cracks or (2) the entire thing would crack. And its odd that each side is cracking in the same place. In any event, you would think that Honda would stand behind this but I had a friend that had one of the Accord V-6's with the auto transmission problem. He had to scream for over a year and even then, Honda only split the cost with him. Good luck Dave.

I heard that headlight tint if not properly put on will do that.
It would be over the WHOLE headlight, not just the top part if that was the case.

He recommended that I get hold of the Zone Manager up here.
