I have been involved. Great event, but very long and you might need to take a couple days off after to recover.

We have a team at Honda R&D that does this each year. I can pass your contact info along to the team mgr if you'd like. If you have some specific questions, list a few up and he can contact you when he has some time.

Do it if you have the time, and money. Knowing first hand, you may need a good tow company. Also, unless you have a ridiculous car, and an amazing driver, you need to do it for the experience, not winning, as there are extremely fast race cars out there.

For this year, the HART team has done everything to squeeze out more power, and reduce weight. Hell, I wound up cutting up the console just to save 1.5 kg. Hopefully it will go better than last year.

Ask me some questions, and I can directly answer them based on our teams experience.

Yes, I have run the Car and Driver One Lap of America. If you get a chance, do it!! There is nothing that can describe the experience. One of the best things I have ever done.
