Creases are harder but can be done. Sounds like dent guys will have your car for a full day.

I have utilized Dent Solutions on the North East side twice in the past with very good results.

I only wish he could do my garage door.

I was just going to post this. Ed is a personal friend of mine and a dent-removal master! Both Ed and his brother Eric are a couple of the original dent wizard technicians with about 15 years experience.

I would highly recommend him.

I just thought I would update people on my car. I had an adjuster from my insurance company (USAA) look over my car along with their approved PDR guy and the head of Buckeye Nissan/Honda's bodyshop. They said that the hood, the left and right front quarter panels, left door, trunk, and rear cowling (the little square piece between the trunk and the top), and the windshield frame all have to be replaced (along with the left tail light, the brake light on the trunk, and left sidemarker)! They were debating about replacing the left rear quarter panel but decided against it since the piece is welded on since it is a uni-body car. They have been evaluating cars from this storm for a couple days now and said mine was one of the worst they have seen. They believe they can repair the remaining panels, but not by PDR means. Their approved PDR guy said "there is nothing I can do for this car". They also said they will repaint the whole thing. I believe the adjuster said "if its silver, it's going to get repainted" (including the front and rear bumpers). USAA has certain approved shops (such as Buckey Nissan/Honda) that will give me a lifetime warranty on the work through USAA. Do you guys think I should go with one of their approved shops for the repaint & dent removal or does anyone have any recommendations for other body shops in the area (I will drive a ways if someone knows a great place). Also, I am thinking about changing the color of my car (its silverstone now). Is there anything I should discuss with a prospective body shop if I decide to change color? I have never had any body work of this nature done before, so I am in uncharted waters. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I may be delaying the repairs on my cars for several months, so I have time to evaluate my options. I am considering the delay because I don't have rental car coverage under my plan, but my Dad has decided to unretire from the millitary and will very likely be heading to Afghanistan after the holidays and I would be able to use his car then. We will find out if he is going overseas within 3 weeks.

USAA's computers in their main office were messed up so I don't have a dollar figure yet, but should have it in a few days. I will keep everyone posted.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

Doug
