Griot's Garage event in Plain City 9/12
Most of you are familiar with Griot's Garage: car care products, etc. There's apparently a new detail shop, Performance Auto Spa, in the Plain City area. Griot's is having a "Tech Session" there at 8, 10, and 12 on Saturday, 9/12. I plan on dropping by to see if I can learn anything. I thought others in the Central Ohio area might be interested.
From the email I received:
"Griot's Garage is coming to Performance Auto Spa, where Car Care Specialists will be providing hands-on demonstrations. Join us for fun and informative sessions on cleaning and detailing your vehicle to perfection! Also, take advantage of special offers only available the day of the event. There is no cost to attend... invite your friends and bring your favorite car!

Apparently, Performance Auto Spa will be stocking Griot's products (not the best, but perhaps better than what you can get at Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.) I don't know if they'll carry any other product lines or not.
It costs nothing, so if it sucks we won't lose too much. I've received emails about these kinds of events from Griot's before, but they were in Cincinnatti and Indianapolis, so I didn't attend.

Some more information:
Performance Auto Spa is on Commerce Place. It's right next to the Harley dealer you see from US 33 between Post Road and US42.
From US33 and Post Road/161, go West on Post to the first traffic light. Turn right on Industrial Parkway. Go Northwest until you see a business called Silver Threads (or something like that) on the right. Turn right on Corporate Place. Corporate Place curves left, Commerce Place goes straight back past The Marble and Granite Works (or something like that).
If you're coming down Industrial Parkway from the New California end, skip the first chance to turn left onto Corporate Place. (Corporate Place is a U-shaped road.) Go on down and turn left on Corporate Place at Silver Threads, go straight on back to Performance Auto Spa.
I have no idea what these Griot's "Tech Sessions" involve, but I'm going to drive over since it's supposed to be a nice day.
