Pure Tuning (a local performance shop in Toledo) held a dyno day event for the members of Toledo Tuners (www.toledotuners.com)

We had a decent turnout of about 15 cars, and I decided to take my s2000 and see what it would make in bone stock form.

Pure has a mustang dyno, and the dyno is extremely popular for being a numbers heartbreaker... people are always disappointed with how low it reads.

The day started out with some miatas and some mustangs... the mustang guys were super pissed that their cars dyno'd lower than expected. Then my s2k was up.

I put down 201 whp / 139 wtq. After reading around on these forums and others, I'm pretty happy with these numbers from a mustang dyno that reads low. My car is literally bone stock (including stock air element that needs to be changed) and I have 53xxx miles.

You should be ; I know of several owners with thousands of dollars in mods that have only made 7-10hp more.

My Civic Si made 189 on that mobile dyno at Honda Marysville. Some S2000's only did 197. Anyone remember what Dyno that was? I have the printout somewhere but could not find it the other day.

Compare that to my 3000 mile stock CR on a Mustang (heartbreaker) dyno.

My CR must have been made on a Friday at 4:45 right before sake bomb happy hour at the factory..

I found the dyno sheet. The Civic Si put down 184.4/138.6. Ray's NSX put down 264/208
