We're going back and forth on whether to keep them. Along with the aggressive tread on the tires, they look awesome on the car but she's beginning to think they may be a bit much for a daily driver considering some of the places she travels for school/work. I keep telling her to let me take the car, but she always has some excuse why she just can't take the GTI on that particular day...
About the hardtop stand, I pulled the instructions you posted and just threw it together myself late one night when I couldn't sleep. Works like a charm. Once work settles down a bit, I may still try to catch up with you at some point to do some Vag-Com changes if you don't mind.
