Good news and bad news for my s2k..
I know I don't get on the boards here often but I'd like to update you guys with whats been going on...
I'll start with the good news:
I finally purchased and installed my Robbin's glass top. If anybody needs any advice/help with this install let me know... i'll try my best to help ya out.
Also, I put my old subwoofer and amp to use by building myself a box. Surprisingly, it sounds really good. I have some extra MDF wood so if anybody is interested in one of these give me a PM.
Now the bad news
My car got hit while I was in class on Friday. I was the only one in the whole row of parking spots. I have no idea how it could of happened. No note, no nothing. Anybody have any recommendations with body shops. Also, what do you guys think about getting an ap2 front?

Yuck.. Sorry to hear about what happened..
How is the Robbins top? I'm thinking the Ap1 top is fading and there are some holes that are starting to expand.. a new top is going to be necessarily pretty soon...

That's actually not to bad. The fender should pull out back into shape once you remove the headlight if the paint is not cracked (you will need to warm up the paint so it doesn't crack). Bumper looks to be repaintable. You will probably need to replace the bracket under the headlight. Hopefully the headlight did not crack where it bolts to the support.

I'm taking it to a few places today to get estimates. There was only 1 class at the building I was at on friday. I'm going to look around at all the cars... hopefully ill be able to find that ass that did it.
The robbins top is great. Fitment is really good and you can't beat the price.

What did you think they were going to do. They are busy looking for the dope growers this time of year. I am surprised they even sent someone. They should have just taken a report over the phone.
