Default Gauging Interest: Stainless steel Heatshield

Hey guys I'm about to start prototyping a aluminium heatshield like the ARC titanium one for our cars, but this would be aluminium and TIG welded, unlike the ARC. Would anyone else be interested in one of these at around 1/2 of the cost or less? ( I know Tim is already in )

It will look similar to this

What are the benifits over the OEM shield?

i personally think its dum because when that thing heats up its gotta hotter than a mother. does it have anything other than straight steel on the under side for heat protection. A carbon one would be boobies!

Theres no real benifits over the stock shield other then to clean up the engine bay.

The more I think about it aluminium would be better suited for the project, that way it would elimiate the heat problem Hefe was talking about, and it would be lighter then stainless too. It might even drive costs down to make the product also.
