Gauging Interest: Selling My Amuse Dual Ti
Hello,
I'm gauging interest locally about someone wanting to buy my dual ti Amuse exhaust. I'm going back to stock (I believe, to sell. Only one car the S2000 isn't practical for me anymore).
Anyone interested? This is just a feeler at the moment, but I would need a stock exhaust to trade and then some cash.
What you guys think?
Thanks,
Chad

Well, I don't WANT to sell my car, but it may become more of a necessity. No, it's because of financial reasons, but rather our family is moving, I'm going to be moving, and odds are there won't be space for a winter beater and a regular car.
Sure, I could buy snow tires and tread the S in winter, but still I'm not too confident that I'd survive the winter.
Also, I feel sorry for my car. I'm not using it to it's full potential (ie track days). I'd like to have a good, all-around car that is comfortable on 5 hour car trips, powerful enough to keep up with the fast lanes on the turnpike (100mph+ easily), and still be fun.
Don't get me wrong, the S2000 is brilliant, and as a second car it's perfect. But for a daily driven car, it gets a little tiresome.
I'll only get rid of it if I have to, but I'm testing to see if there's any interest.

For the Mockster and others interested in price. I've seen used ones on here go for $1500, so $1000ish plus trade sounds reasonable (I think). Any comments on that price? Think I should go lower (seriously, to be fair)?

Got anything else your parting out?
Also I'll get rid of my CDA-9855 and the XM Direct interface and associated junk. And my Voodoo Titanium magnum shift knob, if I can find the lock nut for my stock one.

is the XM direct inter all that is needed (besides subscription) to operate the XM if one already has an alpine xm ready hu?
Actually my subscription would follow, but obviously I would cancel that.
