Default Front license plate mod?

okay so law states you need to display the front plate.... im about to just run no plate until they complain because im doing a turbo build and i dont wana block any part of my intercooler. BUT im on here to ask

IS THIS LEGAL?
DO YOU THINK ITS UGLY? haha

incase i get picked up and have to put a plate on this is what i came up with, it displays the words and county sticker, so i dont see a issue. Yet we are talking about police officers here so i can see them complaining also... what do you think ?

IMO, you might as well run without a plate because what you have is illegal and draws attention to itself

yeah thats what i think too as far as not running a plate opposed to this, but i didnt know if there was a law against this or not so i figured i may be able to squeek it by. so i take it that its illegal to cut a plate ? cause some people bend em and only show the numbers, in this case thats what im doing, i eliminated the red and blue stripe but left the county sticker. so there must be a law against this ?

Bought this from tomzwheels.com. Made by Altec, this really looks good.
My best mod so far.

Just get one of these and tell them you were (insert excuse) and forgot to pull it back out.

Here's another option to move it off to the side.

Purchase a front license plate mounting bracket from Rick's. It's angled in and towards the radiator to enhance air flow to the radiator. It looks great. If not do as many and don't run one. Me, I selected the Rick's bracket and decided not to give the state any more money than I already do in taxes, can't see paying a fine to some cop who needs his monthly quota.

Same here... got the Ricks front plate bracket. Its pretty cool, still like the car better without a front plate, but this is a good, cool non complicated option. I have gotten pulled over in every car I have owned in the last 15 yrs with no front plate, resulting in 2 tickets...
just not worth it
