Default Front license plate

Anyone not using a front plate? I am thinking the car may look better without the plate. Being that I live in Toledo (close to Michigan) I think I could get away with it, I never had a front plate on my civic. I ususally just drove my civic to and from the track/autox though, I will be driving the S2k around more, so it may be nice to not have to worry.

After a warning followed by a ticket, I put it no. Yes it looks better, but at $100 a pop, I can put my money in much better places.

Need?

Not according to most enthusiasts.

Required by some stupid Ohio law?

Yep.

Figure you will get one free get out of jail card, or in this case a ticket, since you should get a warning first. So, don't p.o. the cop and you should be ok. Never gotten pulled over for not having mine.

I don't run one and I'm right down the road from you. I keep it in the trunk just in case. Figure I tell 'em I'm coming from a car show and forgot to put it on or some BS like that. Although I haven't had to use that yet.

Toledo is one thing, but out here I think they're trying to figure out what the hell kind of car it is instead of looking at the plate.

I haven't had a front plate on the last three cars, amounting to approximately 9 years and have had no problems yet. It is just a matter of time!
