I saw a new Taurus this morning. Very nice looking sedan
Are you serious? We have one at work. It reminded me of a Chrysler 300. The interior is cramp for a large vehicle. The seats are small. It was perfect for me but for big americans it will be too small.

A Honda Accord have a bigger interior room than the Ford Taurus.

I thought the new SHO looked like a pretty nice car. Twin turbo V6 and all wheel drive. They are not cheap though.

I forgot to mention that the Taurus had a Sticker price of $38,000!!! You can get a fully loaded Honda Accord for less.

What I see that the Taurus is aim to attrack Old people.

The new Accord is nothing to brag about. I will take the Ford over the hideous looking Accord 4dr any day. Thinking even more about, I would take a Camry or Mazda 6 over the Accord.

This is a HONDA S2000 forum right? How the heck did you get in this forum. Go buy your Ford that will catch on fire. Or better yet maybe a Toyota that have a floor mat that gets stuck under your gas peddal.

Have you even sat or driven the new Taurus? Go sit in one and you will see what I am talking about. The seats are narrower that the S2000!

I did have an S for 5 years and have graduated from that. I like many others have moved on. I am not bashing the Accord, just giving you my opinion that Honda is no longer any different than any other Japan manufacturer to me. And BTW, I have been on this forum almost from the begining (7 years, 310 days) and as many of us old timers have and many of us no longer have the S. I am not brand loyal to any manufacturer, but Ubetit may think different about that. If the S would have said Chevy on it I would still have purchased it. The fact that it had a big H on it had no meaning to me when I purchased it.

At the end of the day, people are going to buy whatever they want based on looks, reputation, perception of value, performance, past reliability, brand loyalty, or for whatever reason. There is no point in arguing about it. Wow, I must be getting older to even think like this.

David, he's just mad that pretty soon he'll see a 55 year old with two kids in the car beating him in the 1/4 mile and on a track or in the twisties.
