The new Accord is nothing to brag about. I will take the Ford over the hideous looking Accord 4dr any day. Thinking even more about, I would take a Camry or Mazda 6 over the Accord.
Have you even sat or driven the new Taurus? Go sit in one and you will see what I am talking about. The seats are narrower that the S2000!

I did have an S for 5 years and have graduated from that. I like many others have moved on. I am not bashing the Accord, just giving you my opinion that Honda is no longer any different than any other Japan manufacturer to me. And BTW, I have been on this forum almost from the begining (7 years, 310 days) and as many of us old timers have and many of us no longer have the S. I am not brand loyal to any manufacturer, but Ubetit may think different about that. If the S would have said Chevy on it I would still have purchased it. The fact that it had a big H on it had no meaning to me when I purchased it.

At the end of the day, people are going to buy whatever they want based on looks, reputation, perception of value, performance, past reliability, brand loyalty, or for whatever reason. There is no point in arguing about it. Wow, I must be getting older to even think like this.

David, he's just mad that pretty soon he'll see a 55 year old with two kids in the car beating him in the 1/4 mile and on a track or in the twisties.
