Don't know much about tires Steve.... Just spoke to Jim@Tire Rack...& that was his pick. I don't really care about "wear" or driving in the rain...etc. I just wanted someting that will "Stick"....& that was his suggestion.

Kumhos belong on Cavaliers,Neons and Hyundais not a sports car IMHO
Yokohama Advan Neova,BF Goodrich G-Force KD,Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R would be on my short list
I'll be opting for the RE-01R's the end of March in time for the WTD.
BTW Kumho Ecsta V700 work great for Autocross if you are budget minded;I prefer Hoosier
......anyways opinions are like a$$holes everyone has one and they generally stink

I don't think Denny tracks his car so I would say most rubber suggested for the S by TIRERACK would be good to go. I'm sure each has it's own pos and neg, but for what most of us do in our cars, the Kumhos are fine.
Can't wait to see the wheels on the car Denny.

Speaking of tires, I've got to replace my two rear RE050s and maybe the fronts as well; set has 19k miiles on it and on e of the fronts has a nail in the center tread bar; not sure I want to repair the tire and take a chance.
I was thinking about Dunlop Sport Maxx since teh Winter Sport M3s have been such great tires so far this winter. Anyone tried these?
thanks,
Dave

Replace all four tires with that much mileage.
