Electrical help
Guys, I've started a thread over there on this subject, but need somebody local to help me through this. I'm trying to find a semi-local stereo shop to help me sort out some curious problems I'm having with my car. The big issue here for me is TRUST. I would rather douse my NSX in gasoline and light it on fire than let some of my former stereo shops ever touch my baby again. So other than yourself, who would you let touch your car in order to sort out a stereo situation?"

Two VERY good options.
SouthSide Audio - located on South High street in columbus (do very good/clean work but is a little expensive)
Audio Obsessions- they hold the state titles and Running for World title in competition (extremely smart, very good at customization, quick, VERY reasonably cheap) pm me for details I know him personally and very close with him..Also i am spending $1,800 saturday to have a bunch of stuff installed in my dd. He is located in Chillicothe (35 miles south of columbus )

David, I've got two issues. One, my amplifier for my subwoofer seems to be drawing current, even with the ignition and stereo off. Two, I have a Compustar car alarm installed that for some reason now thinks the trunk is always open, thus disallowing me to set the alarm. I'm stumped in both cases, and I've got too much other shit on my plate to worry about. I gave up on electrical components long ago and am not sure where to start.
Boost, I'll send you a PM. I need to get this resolved. It's driving me nuts.

LOL understandable. That is actually his cell phone number that i gave you and he has texting so if it is too late you can send him a text explaining how i sent you to him through the s2k forums and he will probably call me to confirm that it is legit and then he will persue the matter. Either way you will not be dissapointed. I wouldnt risk my name and judgement on here if i didnt know absolutly guaranteed that he would provide good service and work. lmk if i can assist you in any way boss

Nick, I just got off the phone with Aaron @ Audio Obsessions. I must admit that he was pretty helpful. More than that, he was patient with his time and willing to share his knowledge and was looking for nothing in return. I was very impressed with his selflessness and am now willing to find out if his work is as good as his communication skills.
When is the next time you plan to go down there? I may want to ride along and see what work you are having done, if you are willing.
