Default Downsizing

I guy at work is hounding me to sell the 97 Civic and has offered 3800 for it;which is enough for a hardtop and dedicated wheels and tires for winter.

Would you do it ?......the S2000 is on a 3year lease and my commute is only 4 miles

Or would you sell it and locate another DD ?

Please discuss

If you are not going to keep the S after lease, don't do anything to it and keep the civic. I did stuff to mine when it was leased but I had planned on buying it. If the civic is paid for keep it. The extra car for me lowers my insurance rates also, don't know about yours.

DOOD, put down a $4,500 payment on a 1 Series, then pay $125 per month on a lease for 67 months. MOd the crap out of it and drive it over the miles.....then buy it, sell it then get a Lambo in 6 years.

You can get a 1 series at 750 over invoice for an in stock unit.

Keep the Civic!!! We have one and no matter what we get offered....it's cheaper to keep it....it's such an awesome daily driver. Should be good for the next 22 years or so.

I would keep the civic for piece of mind, but get a HT and rubber anyways for some winter fun if it is in the budget. It is a lease and why store it for the bank!
