The Scene has a poll about Winston Cup road racing at
www.sceneplus.com

"Eliminate all road course racing is winning right now," so please visit and cast your vote for "2 is the right amount" or "add more road courses" anything but eliminate them!!!

Vote is in.
I am very limited in terms of my Nascar knowledge..(I follow more F1, and AMA), but I think it is a good test to have road courses as well as ovals.
However, I can also understand why fans would prefer ovals as opposed to road courses... viewing.

F1

Thanks for the vote!

My big interest is just The Glen, that track has improved so much over the years because of NASCAR monies, I would hate to see it go away!

And OhioRacer, look at that, an F1 fan right in your own back yard.

buhahaha... I think my addiction to F1 comes from my father who would always be watching/reading about it. As a kid, that's the only form of racing I knew about.. (well, that and motorcycles).

I might be a fan right in OhioRacer's neighborhood, but currently I have "ghost" status with him. I apparently don't exist

PS. My other connection to F1 is when I heard my GF had met Ayrton Senna once in a convenient mart many many years ago..

1st of all, MOCKY57 doesn't really exist. No one has ever seen him. Last we heard, he really owns a 68 Corvaire. Secondly, I'm one of those fans who hates NASCAR racing on road courses. Sorry Doug. Here's what I'll do to help you though. I won't vote at all. That wil give you 1/2 vote in your favor. Bristol rules!

OR- you are hopeless.... I pray that someday you will see the light, and come over to the world of left and right turns.....

Thanks though for the 1/2 vote.

Well Mocky57 you exist in my world! Just knowing someone who met Ayrton is great in my mind. Oh those were the days.... Hey, have you been catching the replays on Speed on Sunday nights? They have been rebroadcasting the '93 season. Battles on the track with Prost, Senna and this new kid Michael Schumacher....

hehehe..... actually, got rained on for a second... but it's getting a bit nicer out, and if you peek off 271 by the wilson mills exit, you'll see a nice red Ap1 parked in the lot FAR FAR away from everyone else

Have a great weekend everyone.
