Default Do any of you Ohio guys do auto body work

Ok, so I have this 95 civic ex with some body damage to the right side.

I just got a call from some dude that works at my apt complex, and he informed me that I can sell the car to him for $250 or it get's towed tomorrow.

I have a place to keep the car so that the apt complex people won't be able to get their hands on it, but now I'm wondering if the car is even fixable. Please let me know if I am crazy...

Does anyone have a 92-95 civic with a blown motor, by any chance??

Thanks
Dave

There you go. I've tried Zaino, porter cable, clay bar, nothing seems to work. Some duct tape may be in order.

SOME body damage you say?

Sell it to him for $250. I see one area that isn't easily fixed.

With that much damage, it's likely that the unibody has moved. The impact force sustained on the passenger side might have transfered to the driver's side. According to your picture, it seems like the roof panel was affected also?

Even with used parts, the cost of repair may be as high as $2500 or more, depending on the actual damage. Unless there's some insurance compensation, I'd say sell it and move on. Glad you're okay though.

Wow, good eye Dr. Fob, the roof did buckle slightly right above the b pillar on the passenger side. No insurance helping out on this one, just had liability.

What do you all think it's worth? Motor and tranny are good, new exhuast, new h20 pump and timing belt, new drive shafts.

Thanks,
Dave

Oh, and I have 4 brand new Honda hubcaps still in the boxes.

There is 3k to 4k in damage there. Parts alone are at least 1k. Time for it to meet the other Civics in the sky.

That's what I was afraid of... I really liked this car, it still ran like it was brand new. It ticks me off every time I look at it...
