All and all a great weekend; just one bitch

Fix the damn infield restrooms and FFS assign someone to keep them CLEAN
I seem to remember the big speech the new owners made at the indy race a few years back. They were going to invest in upgrading the facility for the fans. Frankly I haven't seen it
The painted the guard rails and added a Sunoco sign. Isn't that what you were looking for?

I have a feeling if the Nationwide Race goes well, they will become more dickish because they won't need the club racers money any more. It's real sad because that's not what Jim Trueman wanted.

^^^^

We came back to a paper on our truck saying THIS IS NOT A PARKING SPOT which was on the front grass. A worker then came up to us and said "the owner likes to keep the front grass open"......it was never "open" and if that's what they wanted they should have a sign saying not to park there.

Relax folks, its called 'activation' on Nationwide's part. They appear to be spending more on their signage than other title sponsors of other races...

I'm not worried about the activation. It's security damn near pushing me out of the way so somebody in the tower can get a police escort lunch delivered. Not even a stretch. The new people they brought in are down right rude compared to the people that used to run the place. And to think I work for THE company that keeps that place from becoming Gingerman Ohio......

I guess the NAZCORE fans will just crap on the grass so no need to upgrade this year

It's been 18 years but the restrooms in the tower are spotless btw. That year we rubbed elbows with Leo Mehl of Goodyear and the actor James Garner

I still want to see what shows up for the MidOhio race when NASCAR comes to town
