So, are we agreeing on the Casino Hotel?

Also, Honda and Acura have announced the show cars for this year:

Wow, three vehicles from Acura -- the Acura exhibit has been downright depressing the past few years -- like a friggin ghost town over there.

Any suggestions on a hotel near Greektown and COBOL Center? Near the people mover?

I will be there on the 14th with a few people from college. If anyone is wearing any s2k type stuff then I will flag you down if I see you.

I'm thinking we just get a room at the Greektown Casino hotel.

Other than greektown casino, these are also good options depending on availability:

Marriott at Ren Cen (is a people mover stop)
Atheneum Hotel Greektown (very near a people mover stop - basically neighboring greektown casino)
Doubletree Fort-Shelby (kinda near a people mover stop ~2 blocks away, and close enough to cobo where I consider it walkable -- Breanne and I count 3 to 3.5 city blocks to Cobo)

It might also be worth calling the other two casino/hotels (MGM and Motor City) to see if they will be offering any NAIAS shuttle services...

As soon as I heard about the NSX, I knew I was going for sure. I would have been REALLY geeked had the new RL with electric SH-AWD was going to be there, but you can only ask for so much--that's coming for the NY auto show. The Civic-based Acura is a good way to bring young people back to the brand. Sounds like a reinvention of the brand is coming.

*prays to car gods that Acura doesn't f up the styling on the new Acuras*

Thanks for the info. I looked into it and all the hotels are within 10-20 bucks a night at ~190/night for a room with a king or 2 queen beds. I'm really indifferent, but it would be nice to book soon.

Yeah, I imagine reservations will fill up, if they haven't already.
