Plan is to head up Friday Jan 13 night, and stay at the Atheneum Suites near the Greektown Casino. Here is the website if you need a room. http://www.atheneumsuites.com/ We'll use the people mover to get to Cobo on Saturday.
It appears that the Antheneum Suites is booked so an alternate locations is the Marriott downtown.

Dinner on Friday.
Pegasus followed by some drunk irish tunes at The Old Shillelagh (also right there in greektown). http://pegasustavernas.com/ http://www.oldshillelagh.com/ Both of these are right by the hotel.
