Detailing in Columbus
I tried searching, but didn't have any luck.
I am looking for for some recommendations for either a shop or an individual who details cars in Columbus. I have a couple of light scratches that I would like to have repaired as well as getting the car a really good detailed cleaning inside and out. Also, what should I expect to pay to have my car detailed?
Thanks for your help.

Instead of paying someone else to do it, invest that money in product and machinery and learn to do it yourself. Most machines anymore are virtually foolproof. I wouldn't start you out with my rotary and black wool but a good PC, UDM or Flex will get you started.
Also, are the light scratches down tho the metal? Can you catch your fingernail on it?

The scratches appear to be only in the clear coat or the paint, they are very light. One is on the hood and one is on the passenger side door. What are PC, UDM, and Flex? I really don't have any experience with this, and don't want to mess up the car. If I do hire someone, I don't want it to look like some Armor-All coated used car. If anyone would like to teach me, I'd be happy to learn and pay you or buy you lunch and a couple of beers.

I think a wash and wax day would be great. I would like to learn to do this sort of thing myself, and would appreciate the guidance. I could meet some of the other Columbus members and learn a few things about washing/detailing my car. It sounds like a great time. If there is anything I can help you with in organizing it, please let me know.
