You got lucky... "he" returned your money... lesson learned on the cheap....
If it is sold AS-IS, Where-Is... it is just that... It is YOUR PROPERTY when purchased,
if the engine falls out 10 seconds after you buy it, the car is yours... NOT HIS!!!!

Yes the straight six motor is a fantasitc motor. Everything else on the jeep seems to be a problem. Trannys on the v8's are terrible..
UPDATE: The man came down today and took his car back and gave me all of my money. We had no arguments nor was there any hot air. He apologized for the problems that occured and said he didnt want to be known as someone that sold junk. I applaud his manhood and his morals and I let him know that. That really made me feel better and now I am a new owner of a 2002 lincoln ls WITH warranty and inspection/carfax records. It is sad that this whole situation had to happen but the way he handled the situation is admirable.
