Cincinnati Shop
I need a shop in the cincinnati area that can resleeve a ap1 block any suggestions? Has anyone else run into the issue with scarring of the cylinder walls due to oil starvation? I had a drop in oil pressure and poof cylinder #1 is toast along with the piston.

You may or may not know that the S2K has FRM (fiber reinforced metal) cylinder walls. Are you sure you can't get oversized pistons and rings and have them honed? It is my understanding that FRM cylinders require a specialized honing technique, though.

A few shops said they wouldnt because the metal was too soft, i got a quote from a place in indiana ERL, they advised against honing due to the development of hot spots along the cylinder wall. They said they could re sleeve to stock settings, for $1500 however if i could find closer and less expensive that would be great but its lookin like i will be spending the tax return on a rebuilt block
