Default Central Ohio owners ?

I registered on this site a couple of years ago, but just recently started getting acquainted with it. I know there are a few "S"s around Newark,........ is anyone a member??? How about Licking County, or near by? I see a lot of posts from the Columbus area, and appreciate their feed back on my rear tire question I posted previously.

I would like to get involved in some future activities. My wife and I enjoy cruising, and try to (2 out of past 3 years) take an annual vacation in the S.

Thanks for any feedback, or info on upcoming (or next summer) "get togethers".

J.D., welcome (back)!

We are heading into the winter months and activities tend to be sparse until Spring. We'll have to hold a GTG out your way some evening. Is Easton too far for you?

I echo Scott's comments.

Check this board for planned get togethers. We try to post enough in advance to allow people to plan.

Other times, you may see someone feel the need to post with short notice to grab some food, drink a beer and vent about work or something.

In any case, check out the forum for gtg updates and we'll look fwd to seeing you soon.

Welcome!

Although I no longer have my S2000, it spent a few years in and around Granville. I know of a few in that area, but none are members on this board.

Thanks for the welcome and feedback !!
Scott - Easton would be fine; we like to go there.
Mr Clean - Nice Porsche!!
BDub - Why did the S go ? Family demands require more than 2 seats?
pzach - I'll keep my eyes open for that gpw !

Anyone have plans to run the Dragon this summer?

Take care !!

Had an opportunity to make more money on the car that it was purchased for, so I jumped on it, and moved on to something else. As much as I loved, and still love the S, next summer there will be a Porsche in my garage

I can relate ........................ I considered a Boxter before purchasing the S. But, after looking at the Porsche owners manual, noting the maintenance intervals, and checking on cost .............. !!! Wow !! I decided to go with the less maintenance intensive S !!

I'm afraid i'll be knowing maint. all to well when I go the Porsche route. I've had my eye on the 97 & 98 993's for a long time, and i'll be looking over the course of the next year for the perfect car.

There's something about a car with soul - the S2000 is the only car i've owned that had one, and I feel that the last of the aircooled Porsche's have a soul all their own.

I thought you were getting a 07' S2k? I'm staying loyal to Honda when I purchase this spring. I'm sure the 993 will be a nice one though
