There is no better decompression chamber after work than dropping the top and taking the long way home

Is that a 2.3 mile drive as opposed to a 1.1 mile drive?

It was so nice out this afternoon that I finally uncovered the car. Took most of the lining pieces out of the trunk, and removed my sub from the tool well. I needed to find a way to get 2 new tires into the car, so that I could take them up for install in a couple days. I also wanted to play with the settings on my coilovers.

So I got one tire into the trunk, and one strapped into the passenger seat , adjusted the coilovers front and rear, and disconnected the battery tender.

Figured it would be a good time for the first drive of the year. Did a nice 30 minute topdown drive. Very good way to end a crappy work week. As I was closing the garage door I noticed one small detail I forgot to do.

As some of you know I tend to do a gradual detail of the car over the winter. The car is always covered between steps, and I try to make it easy to just go out and throw another coat of Wolfgang sealant on.

In order to make it as easy as possible I leave the license plates off all winter. So, you guessed it. I was the idiot that was getting stares at the car not because it was clean and topdown, but because I ran around without the plates on

I'm chalking it up to too much winter
