In Car Video of me at Putnam Park
Ran the Club Racer at Putnam Park's opening event with the 100 Speed Club (lapping day).
Had incar video all day. I took a segment, compressed it, and uploaded it to YouTube for all to see.
So if you would like to take a lap with me in the CR around Putnam Park.... click here:

Awesome;thanks for sharing
Couple of questions
Are you still on the OEM suspension ?
Are you still on the OEM spec tires ?

I ran the OEM RE070's last year at Putnam and in the video I am on a fresh set of RE01R's. They did great and had very similiar performance characteristics to the RE070's.
Some differences noted:
- RE070's are a bit stickier, but not a lot
- RE070's are quiet like R-Compounds, RE01R's started screaming near the limit
- RE01R's wore MUCH better than the RE070's.
Only other mod was a swap out of the OEM brake fluid to Super Blue.
Car ran great - had a fun time - really enjoy the car on the track

Good info
Since you have tracked the CR how is your brake wear and have you inspected the front rotors ?
Also it's my understanding that with more aggressive R compound rubber that it tends to put more stress on suspension bits
Any auto-x plans for 09 ?

I tried the Hawk HPS's as well. Waste of money, went back to OEM. The Hawks weren't bad, they just really weren't any better than the OEM's and more $$.
The only week point in the OEM brake system for weekend track junkies is the "heavy duty" DOT 3 brake fluid.
Bonus, the OEM pads are also very gentle on the rotors. I have just under 10k on the odometer and the rotors have very little if any dishing.
Obviously if you go with a more agressive pad compound, you may stop better, but at the expense of eating up your rotors.
I also ran stock brake setup (minus Super Blue) in several autox's last year. No complaints
So overall, yes the OEM brake setup on the CR can be improved, but unless your racing, a laptime junkie, or bored and have money to spend, the OEM setup will be just fine for most venue's.
As for pad wear. For Lapping Days/HPDE's, plan on a fresh set of rears to last 1 day and fronts to last 2 days (yes, the rears wear faster than the front, must be some rear brake bias).
As for the rest of the season:
I'm already on the schedule for:
- Mid Ohio, Memorial Day Weekend, 2 day event
- Bluegrass Motorsports, July 10, 1 day event
- Nelson Ledges, Aug 1 & 2
additional track events yet to be determined.
In addition, I'll run a few "Fun Days" at Nelson (infact planning to go next friday) and all the SCCA Northeast Ohio Autox's if they ever update their schedule (website still shows '08 schedule)

agree - the rears did hold up better with the Hawk HPS's.
The Hawks seem to get better the more they are used. Not a good pad to throw on last minute, really does need some mileage before they come to life.
They create more dust than the OEM's and are starting to squeak ever so slightly in low speed low brake scenario's.
I'm a bit torn on my opinion of the Hawks. I will likely try a few different pad setups this year to see which best combo works for me.
