Enjoyed the chronicles de S2000 Homecoming, Steve and Becky.

Agreed on sedona, az.

The pink jeep tour was cool and worth doing, some great, great views/photo opps not possible off the jeep trail.

Enjoy the time in cali and try to stay cool, during the heat wave.

That's some serious miles. How's the back and butt holding up? We need more restaurant reports.

No back issues however our stints are usually 250 miles at a time do to fuel requirements ............I don't like running below a 1/4 tank in unfamiliar areas

The car will break 20K on the odo by the time we hit home and we started out at 14,900

The car has been flawless hasn't used a drop of oil and even with varying temps and altitudes has been extremely responsive even with 90 only octane offered in Cali

Highest per gallon cost was Needles,Ca. @3.89 /gal

We get a lot of from motorcyclists for some reason....... maybe because no one runs top down in the desert in 100+ degrees

Our Best and Worse

Best Supper :Corky's BBQ in Memphis Tn.

Best Lunch : Cattleman's in Oklahoma City,Ok.

Best Breakfast : 3Thirty3 in Newport Beach,Ca.

Best Pizza: Roma's in Flagstaff,Az.

Best Burger :In-n-Out burgers in Victorville,Ca........better than anything here 4sure

Best Beer :Sedona’s Oak Creek Brewery Amber Ale

Best Hotel:Springhill Suites in Kingman,Az.

Best (cleanest)bathroom stops:Love's travel stops....Ohio-Cali hands down the best

Best Gas Station :Shell in Alma,Ar $2.89/Gal and a spray car wash area .50 for 2.5 minutes

Best stop:Sedona,Az.......the Grand Canyon is second but Sedona tops them all

Best unforseen moment :Oklahoma City near Tinker AFB we saw a B1 bomber take off and circle overhead before buggingout
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Worst:

The state of California and zero rest stops opened between the border and LA either coming in or leaving zero.....nada .........none
Although it never effected us because we tied bathroom breaks with refueling and or lunch we did see one young lady who had to relieve herself along the road

This may have to do with the budget crunch in that state

.....and finally not having a front end mask on the car.
The bugs in Arkansas just on the other side of the Mississippi river are HUGE and would have made clean-up easier
