Austin F1 2012
Just wondering if anyone is thinking about attending the inaugural F1 race from Austin this November.
I'm thinking about going... Just seeing if people are going and want to meet up either at the track or downtown Austin.

We were going to go when it was originally planned for July. With my wife being a teacher, it's tough for us to take a vacation of any length during the school year.

Im glad it wasn't in July though. I've been to Austin in July and it's crazy hot.
Ticket prices haven't been released yet. I think people may have reserved before they saw the prices so who knows if hotel prices drop a bit. I think depending on where you stay, the rooms aren't too bad. But it's F1. Everything is pricey.

This sparked my interest. I can get a two way ticket for ~500 and I'm sure we can get a hotel room for a reasonable rate. I'm worried about the ticket prices. Can't afford a seat in a grand stand based on their initial price with annual seat fee, but maybe general admission will be better (but not released yet).
Would be nice for a package deal with bussing from the airport and stay near downtown Austin with shuttle to the track, but with the track withholding ticket info and purchasing (downfall of a promoter in the long run), there are no packages I can find.

I hate it when I go to a dealership and the dealer tries to pressure me in to getting a vehicle I really cannot afford. I just want the dealer to take the spending budget I have given him or her and go with it. I went to one in Austin that was good! The dealership made sure I stayed in my spending budget and got a really good car in the budget. Finding a dealership is not hard. By going at this page: Austin Honda you will find the best dealership you could ever have. They will help you find the best vehicle for the best price. They would assure to you that you can get the best deal for the car you will purchase. I was really happy with the dealership I found in Austin and I'll never regret for it.
