Post Apexi AFC Neo Fuel Management Computer

I just saw this on some s2k site, how is this different/better than the VAFC2?

What are the pro/Cons on this unit? And is it worth 400$?

You will see increases with a turbocharged/supercharged car;and /or one that has had extensive cylinder head work or ITB's

If this is the plan I believe AEM offers a better product and yes it is more pricey but well worth it.

All out race engines that never see the street with low impedence injectors require a stand alone like a MOTEC and require constant supervison (tuning)

Normally aspirated with only external bolt-ons is a waste of money.

Well i need to get the car tuned, stock mine runs a little rich. My gas milage sucks. The Vafc2/ Neo seems like a good solution for the time beeing. The car runs rich and the car is allmost stock, so might as well.

So other than its good for boost..

How will this unit benefit me?

I guess I should really had qualified my answer in as much from what I've read about the Apexi unit.

I have a little more backround with the AEM and am wondering why your car is running "rich" ?

Have you changed injectors ?

AP1's do tend to run rich especially a 2000 model. I would however say that the right foot + VTEC is the cause of your poor mileage, I know its mine

Save your money for something else. Poor mileage is your driving. I only average 19mpg.

Have you measured your air/fuel, or are you just judging on gas mileage? This would be a waste for many reasons, mainly honda engineers tune cars (stock) better and safer then you could with this add-on. If you feel there is something wrong have it diagnosed by a pro. The S is a 4 banger, but not a civic and does eat gas if driven hard. PM if you need help.
