Default Anyone know any good tuners?

Hey, does anyone know any good tuners around the dayton or cincy area? I am pulling my car from ips and allowing someone else to do the tuning on it. Any help would be great, thanks.

although not in the dayton area, but if you are willing to travel to the sunbury ohio area, probably an hour to hr and a half, slo motion motorsports is an extremely good company, they tuned my buddies rsx-s to 211whp with i/h/e and hondata, that is very good

Yea I live in cbus, they screwed me over pretty bad on my evo. Columbus hasn't been too good of luck for me.

I've heard bad things about IPS.... no personal experience with any tuning place in columbus however...

How did slomotion screw up your evo? I know they specialize in hondas and generally have what appears to be some very fast shop cars but that could all be a front (could've been tuned to put down some crazy number and blew up).

Have you tried the rx7store? Again not honda specific but you'd think someone who is an experienced tuner could tune most cars.

Correy, wyan and all of the staff at slowmotion are good guys but they definatly "throw you under the bus" shall i say, if you dont spend and excessive amount there or if you are not a repeat customer. Like ips, they took 3 months to do VERY minor things on my car. I really dont like going into detail or bashing them because they arnt here to defend themselves. I have been around the block a time or two and have owned some serious hp cars. I will definatly drive out of my way to go to a tuner (drove my s2000 to inlinepro from ohio). Please everyone beware of columbus tuners. Im saying this from personal experience and of fellow car enthusiast experiences that I know. I do not know any of you personally but I would like to consider you all somewhat of a family. With that being said, I do not let family members get screwed and really urge you all to seek other tuners if all possible. I am very active in the columbus car club scene and very well known but over the past few years my relationships with the tuner shops around here have deteriorated because of dishonesty. I hope you all can learn by my experiences and hopefully this never happens to any of you.

Hmmm I just ask my buddy who has a turbo g35 making quiiiiiiite a bit of power, he got tuned at Injected Performance in KY - told me to tell you to talk to Hal.

Have you considered going outside of the regional forum and just looking for the closest s2000 specific tuner (similar you going to inlinepro)?

TPR here in Cincy is solid. They built one for an S2KCincinnati guy that runns 500+hp on a 15psi turbo.

I've seen and heard it, it sounds solid.

Injected is a solid shop, too....but be careful for a shop that hasn't done S2Ks much. The car requires some learning to tune and you don't want that time on your dime.
