Hmmmm, either planes that are as long and wide as my house and filled with tons of jet fuel brought down the towers, or some dudes ran up to the floors where the planes crashed and planted explosives to bring the towers down......

As for your argument about the melting points of metal, keep in mind these structures were greatly weakened by the initial hit and the hour or so of intense fires that followed. I would think that a compromised steel structure under such compressional forces would not necessarily have to melt to fatigue and fail.
This I am curious.
