I know some of the PacWest people ran the event last year... this sounds like a lot of fun... Keep me posted on this.. I'd maybe come out and shoot some photos of the event.

Yea we started about 9 months out last year. I think the car sat for about 5 months of that with no progress, but a lot of beer being drank!
Reinforce the motor mounts!!

For sure may make some solid mounts after hours at a friends machine shop.
There probably be many silver bullets wasted on this thing.
The e30 I talked to you about had a rod knocking thought it would be to much work and run over budget to get running.

E30 2.5 liter motors are fairly cheap, but you can buy a whole car for less. Or better yet, bring a second car to scrounge parts off. Berettas are a dime a dozen.
