How hard are these to get off? Do I really need to lay on some thick wax to make sure they come off easily?

Last year they just peeled right off. This year, they are much less sticky so it shouldn't be an issue. I'd wax your car before you put them on.

They came off of Andy's car, which has never seen a drop of wax in its life......

Chris;

Replied to your pm

I'd say what Pete said is correct. I think if anything some of the stickers are not sticky enough. Particularly, the small letters on the door.

Course, you know me. 2 coats of Wolfgang, 2 coats of Carnuba, 2 coats of liquid wax. Not much sticks to my car anyway.

And if you're paranoid, either let the car sit in the sun for a while, or use a hair dryer to warm them up before pulling them off. Last year's came off easilywith no residue except the line of dust around the edges.
