2009 Calendar Discussion
Somebody needs to volunteer to own the job!
What does that mean?
You will need to solicit pics from everyone.
You will need to compile pictures with some calendar software.
You will need to find a place that can print the calendars.
You will very likely need to put up your own cash to have the calendars printed and then 'sell' them.
You will very likely need to mail out calendars to people, that has a cost too.
I did this last year and the process took about two months. Collecting pictures is generally not hard, but 90% of the submissions are not "calendar quality." Excessive or even subtle crap in the background can ruin a picture. The focus should be on the car(s). No printer will print your calendar if there is any commercial signage, as they consider it a trademark infringement. This does not include Honda badging on your car--you paid for that.
You will need at least 13 great pictures, preferably in high res format. Each picture will likely be 3-4MB in size. All other submissions can be placed into blank dates on the calendar grid.
I am putting this up to the group now, since the process can be lengthy. It will be frustrating and consensus on anything will not exist. You may end up making the call on a lot of things yourself.
I am willing to provide advice and support, but I am not going to own getting it done.

Well, if that's something you want to consider, let me know. I'd be glad to help out.
