I spoke to the school today and they confirmed that the winner does NOT need to be present to win. They have a dinner on Sunday evening (Nov 2) when they do the drawing but if the winner isn't there, they will notify you the next day.

Thanks to all that have bought tickets so far, I knew this community would show support.
