Default 2006 OVR autocross video

One of the autocrossers put together an end-of-the-year video of the 2006 OVR season. As you can probably guess by watching, he's a Subie owner. But, he got a couple of S2000 clips in here, too.

Autocross video

About 27 seconds in, you can see my driving prowess.

That's actually a Sunbeam Alpine, not a Tiger. I was actually thinking through my spin in that video and realized that it was probably right when the VTEC kicked in combined with cold/wet tires and cold pavement. Bad combo. Wasn't my first spin in that car, surely won't be my last.

Cool video man. Saw a few S2000s in there.
I was hoping to see you turn that spin into a drift.

Lol. I did my best, really. Watch where I am looking - I don't give up on it until I'm completely sideways. I can't drift it on the V710s with my current setup (UK alignment, Comptech FSB on full stiff). When she goes, she's pretty much gone.

I tried one autocross on my crappy street tires, and I was a drifting fool. It was fun, but frustrating to be 5 seconds behind R comps on a 45 second course.

I know that feeling, on 05' I was running in SM and was running on street tires!! I was typically in last place in the class and only lead someone else who was on street tires. I stayed focused on my driving and did my best, nothing else I could do.
