Just tackled adjusting the valves on my own this weekend, and it took much longer than I expected for what should be such a simple job. I also snapped a valve cover bolt thanks to my torque wrench being not so great. Hopefully everything works once I get the replacement bolt and finish tightening the valve cover.

Once I get the replacement Berlina from Toronto (former UC grad), I'll be doing a host of maintenance activities at the Cincy Tech Day in April. New car, want to ensure all the maintenance is done to my satisfaction. Mike, Greg and Denny from OKI and great teachers.

Haha, I would hate doing this job while hungover. All in, I think it took me roughly 8 hours (I know I know) including a break for lunch. That was mostly because I went through all the valves once and then went through them again just to make sure I was happy with their clearances. I also spent some time getting all the sealing surfaces properly clean. With a proper workshop and some experience, I figure you can probably get the entire job done in 2-3 hours.
