I was at King's Cross in April. Platform 9 3/4 is there.
If you have ever been on the "tube" in London, the stations and corridors can be very claustrophobic. Evacuating people from the platforms and connectors would be very problematic. Plus the city is extremely dependent on the underground, more so than New York.
Its ironic that Londoners regard the underground as their saviour as it sheltered som many people during WW2. Now some fanatic is attacking them where it really hurts and means the most. Kind of has a familiar ring to it.
