Novi was a two birds with one stone trip - took my son to participate in a regional karate tournment and had dinner with a business partner while I was up there. Novi and the immediate area actually isn't too bad but I feel bad for the whole Detroit area. Business beliefs aside, its a shame what has become of the domestic auto industry and the fact that the whole region is getting crushed, from the auto execs to the 3rd party suppliers all the way down to the corner pizza joints. Not that Cleveland is faring much better.
