Had some nice winds here yesterday. Even though we still played some paintball in the woods. Power went out here around 2 came back around midnight some parts of town are still out.

civic update: car is running... replaced battery and clamp on battery.

Read CEL: vehicle speed sensor

Before replace battery: speedo would be at 0..
Now: Speedometer is going nuts....

clean out the connector and the vss other then that replace the vss

Footwell neons over-loaded?

If the speedo is electronic (doesn't have a gear/cable setup) then there could be a short.

edit: See Joe's note. Much cheaper.

It's by the bend to my intake above the transmission

um....

I looked this morning but I have no idea what I'm looking for

I drove to work and got a headache watching the speedo jump all over the place..


one minute i was going 20mph..next 120..
