Yes, I'm sorry. That's the correct config. I was on my phone and could not tell correctly.

I would start by mounting the trunk mounts first, then fit the wing. There should be a little tension, but not so much that the dry carbon legs on the wing are stressed.

You are however missing a piece. Most Voltex wings have a long slender portion that mounts to the trunk. Look at the second picture, it's small but you can see it here:

Yep I have those

I was just using the stands to mark the holes on the trunk (until I found it was too wide!) Those rubber / plastic bits actually make my problem a tiny bit worse as they sick out further than the screw holes. I'm pretty sure they have made a dimension error on this wing

If the wing was made for an s2000, it would seem unlikely to me that they made it wrong. The jigs they use are pretty fool proof. Measure the dimensions of the wing. I had a Voltex wing that was also pretty far off. After measuring, I found out the seller had sold me a wing made for a 350z.

It's hard for me to tell from the picture, but again, my wing requires a bit of tension to mount

Bad photos from VIR. I painted the Type 1S after I cracked the clear coat.

With the low stands.

With the 255mm stands.
